I don’t know about you, but lately I haven’t been feeling like showing my legs. Let’s just say, they’re not summer ready yet…Haha! With that being said, I’ve been loving midi dresses and skirts. Click here, here, and here, for other midi-dresses that I’ve recently loved!
I fell in love with this mesh rhinestoned top when I saw CHAMPAGNE + MACAROONS wear it during her birthday! I wanted to wear it and feature it on my blog with a different look, of course. Although I loved her beautiful pleated maxi skirt, I wanted to show another way to wear such a statement piece because lots of my clients would be intimidated when brainstorming ways other ways to create an ensemble.
When you were little, were there always two colors that you wanted to wear together, but you were told that they didn’t match? Me too! What were your two colors? Mine were light pink and green, specifically olive green. It’s so funny now, and maybe you’ve noticed, that we’re encouraged to get more creative with the colors we pair together.
Yup. This is IT. This is my post. Every fashion blogger gets one post to vent, and this is mine. This is intense, so if you can’t handle intensity, or haven’t had your coffee yet, then I suggest closing the screen.
Let’s get deep!
This is my reminder to you, and myself, that none of us know what we’re doing!
Well, we’re all seeing overalls spottings while we’re out and about, and it has us thinking…”Hmm…Wait, I really want some!” I know I’ve had my eye on them for awhile now and finally pulled the trigger. At first, I was a little hesitant to throw them on and be seen in public because they’re considered so casual. BUT, wait one second before you list all of the lame excuses why you won’t wear them! Every time I’ve worn these things, I’ve received so many compliments from complete strangers. And, whenever I post a photo in them on Snapchat (@daniseotis) or an Instagram story (@bowsandboots_), I’ve received countless messages from women and men.
I’m a sucker for Stitch Fix, as you may already know! Why? It’s an exciting way to get one-of-a-kind pieces that are on trend, fashion-forward, and creative. Lately, shades of light pink have been catching my eye when I’m out shopping and knew I needed to find a suede jacket for spring. I knew, immediately, that Stitch Fix would have a great piece!
Traverse the tides in style with the Transatlantic Voyage Blue and Ivory Striped Midi Dress! Lightweight cotton fabric, with a blue and ivory striped print, shapes an elasticized, off-the-shoulder neckline, fluttering short sleeves, and a ruffly top tier. Pure perfection for any gal who is longing for the warm, carefree, summer days.
California has finally gotten a TON of rain this winter, which has us craving some sunny days! Isn’t it funny how we always want what we don’t have? If it’s raining, we want the sun. If it’s sunny, we want some rain. Anyways, during winter, it was apparent that spring 2017 was going to focus heavily on pastel floral prints; specifically, in light shades of blue.
If you know me, you know that I prefer neutral statement pieces. With that being said, I love comfortable statement pieces that are versatile. This concept is almost impossible to find, however, I found a legendary (and, Heaven-sent) jumpsuit that’s so versatile that I can wear it casually or dress it up for a special occasion.
This rust color-way is a little out of my comfort zone, but the ruffle detailing on the straps made me swoon. I love romantic pieces and this screamed my name!
