If you know me, you know that I prefer neutral statement pieces. With that being said, I love comfortable statement pieces that are versatile. This concept is almost impossible to find, however, I found a legendary (and, Heaven-sent) jumpsuit that’s so versatile that I can wear it casually or dress it up for a special occasion.
This rust color-way is a little out of my comfort zone, but the ruffle detailing on the straps made me swoon. I love romantic pieces and this screamed my name!
I don’t typically gravitate towards jumpsuits, mainly because of my unusually long torso. I don’t think I need to go into detail regarding why a long torso matters when wearing any jumpsuit or romper–long torso’d ladies completely understand what I’m referring to. ANYWAYS, this one is perfect for the few of us who have long legs and a long core.
I accessorized this piece by adding some gold jewelry to accent the warm rust tone of the piece and added some beige heels. One can really get down-and-dirty with accessories by adding a floppy hat, a long-chained clutch bag, and some layered bracelets.
“It didn’t matter what people thought about her. Her focus was never on small talk. She had better things to do with her life, like become a better woman. She didn’t care what people said behind her back because most of them never had the guts to say it to her face anyway. She didn’t care if people believed in her, or if they were going to pick up and leave. What she offered was more than good enough and anymore who wanted to walk away from that…Well, that was on them.”
